Owen County
Owen County Kentucky is called the “Heartbeat of the Golden Triangle” because it is located entirely within the boundaries of I-75, I-71 and I-64. It is less than an hour drive from Cincinnati, Lexington and Louisville.
It features loads of lakes, natural beauty, rolling hills, streams and a wealth of hunting and fishing. Eagle Creek, the world’s longest creek, flows through Owen County and Elmer Davis Lake provides some of the best bluegill and crappie fishing in the state.
Elk Creek Vineyards, Kentucky’s largest winery is also located in Owen County.
